Real World Experience. Life-Changing Results.
Business World® is a four-day program that brings high school students and business volunteers together on a college campus to learn about the challenges facing our economy. It is an opportunity that will enable students to prepare for their future in an increasingly competitive global marketplace.

Student participants are divided into teams of 10-12, who function as an imaginary "company" for the program. With the task of turning their company into a financial success, they create a unique product, develop marketing strategies and design a commercial. In essence, they will make all of the decisions that are demanded of real life company executives.

In addition, students interact with guest speakers, tour local companies and compete in an online business simulation.

Check out the Business World Facebook Page to find more program information and to watch the camp videos from the 2010 programs!

There will be two programs to choose from in 2011.
Pick the week that works best for you!

June 19 - 22 at St. Norbert College, De Pere
June 26-29 at Edgewood College, Madison

Past BW students still in high school are eligible to apply for the Advanced Program, which will be held at both programs in 2011!

2011 Mini Business World
More than 170 Dane County high school students were scheduled to join us for the first-ever Mini Business World program on February 17, 2011 at the Alliant Energy Center in Madison.

Mini Business World works like this: Along with other kids from your school, students are placed in charge of a "company” and be expected to make many of the same decisions demanded of real-life company executives. Compete for prizes as you design marketing materials, create a commercial, and compete for market share in a simulated marketplace. Hear from speakers on important issues to your future like interview skills, social media, and generational differences in the workplace.
