Business World® is a four-day program that brings high school students and business volunteers together on a college campus to learn about the challenges facing our economy. It is an opportunity that will enable students to prepare for their future in an increasingly competitive global marketplace.Student participants are divided into teams of 10-12, who function as an imaginary "company" for the program. With the task of turning their company into a financial success, they create a unique product, develop marketing strategies and design a commercial. In essence, they will make all of the decisions that are demanded of real life company executives. In addition, students interact with guest speakers, tour local companies and compete in an online business simulation.
