COURSE OVERVIEW
This program was developed by the U.S. Department of Labor to provide construction workers, supervisors and other personnel responsible for construction activities with an awareness of safety and health concerns in the construction industry. Attendees will become familiar with the OSHA requirements for a number of construction activities. The focus of the class is to provide attendees with options available to control hazards associated with construction.

WHO SHOULD ATTEND
The course is recommended for personnel in the private sector interested in developing safety and health programs in the construction industry. Special emphasis is placed upon those areas in construction that are the most hazardous, using OSHA standards as a guide.

INSTRUCTOR
Bob LoMastro is the President of LoMastro & Associates, Inc. Bob is a former Green Beret, Navy Hospital Corpsman & Supervisor of the National Safety Council’s Safety Training Institute. He holds a Masters Degree in Safety Management & Engineering and first developed his unique teaching style as an instructor at the Naval School of Health Sciences. Bob conducts many training programs for the Wisconsin Safety Council, Northern Illinois University and many other clients throughout the United States. As President of LoMastro & Associates, Inc. Bob draws upon a career spanning over thirty years of teaching safety and health related topics in both general industry and construction companies.

OSHA CARDS
