Business World® is a four-day program that brings high school students and business volunteers together on a college campus to learn about the challenges facing our economy. It is an opportunity that will enable students to prepare for their future in an increasingly competitive global marketplace.Student participants are divided into teams of 10-12, who function as an "imaginary" company for the program. With the task of turning your company into a financial success, you will create a unique product, develop marketing strategies and design a commercial. In essence, you will make all of the decisions that are demanded of real life company executives. In addition, students interact with guest speakers, tour local companies and compete in an online business simulation.

Students who have already attended Business World or the BW Second Year Program are eligible to apply for the new "Business World Advanced Program". Please note that the Business World "Advanced" program will only be offered once this summer, and will run concurrently with the Week 2 program, held at UW-La Crosse, July 26-29, 2009.
